FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
General
Mobile IV infusion therapy involves the intravenous or intramuscular administration of fluids, vitamins, or other compounds, delivered by an AHPRA registered professional at a location of your choosing, rather than in a clinic.
All treatments are administered by AHPRA registered health professionals, in accordance with clinical assessment and practitioner approval.
A referral isn't required for most services, as these are scripted through our affiliate doctors as part of your consultation. Iron infusions are the exception, requiring a prescription from your own GP — see our Iron Infusions FAQs below.
All treatments follow strict infection control and clinical assessment protocols, consistent with what you'd expect in a healthcare setting. A consultation is conducted prior to any treatment to assess suitability.
Appointment length varies by service and individual circumstances, generally ranging from 30 minutes for shorter treatments to 2-3 hours for NAD+ infusions. Your consultation will give you a clearer idea of timing for your specific session.
Where possible, we recommend drinking plenty of water beforehand, as this can make cannulation easier. If you have pets, please arrange to have them secured away from the treatment area during your appointment.
If your obstetrician, GP, or other treating doctor has referred or advised you to receive an infusion, we're happy to work with you to provide this safely. Please let us know at the time of enquiry so we can discuss your specific circumstances.
Services
We offer Vitamin Wellness Infusions, Hydration Support, NAD+ Infusions, Iron Infusions, and Intra-Muscular Injections. Full details are available on our Services page.
Every treatment begins with a consultation, where your AHPRA registered professional will discuss your goals and health history to determine the most suitable approach for you.
Intra-muscular injections (such as B12, Vitamin D, or CoQ10) are offered as an add-on to another service and aren't available as a standalone mobile visit.
NAD+ infusions are administered via a standard dose of 500mg, typically taking around 2-3 hours. Your infusion rate is adjusted throughout the session based on your comfort, so duration can vary from person to person.
We use nutrients and compounds sourced exclusively from Australian-based, sterile compounding pharmacies, ensuring every treatment meets rigorous local safety and quality standards.
Consultation & Scripting Fee
Yes. Except for Iron Infusions (which require a prescription from your own GP), our services are provided under the scripting of our affiliate doctors. A $50 fee covers your initial consultation and doctor scripting, which approves you for our services for 12 months.
No. Once paid, this fee covers you for 12 months from your initial consultation, regardless of how many bookings you make within that period.
Iron Infusions
Yes. Iron infusions are available by prescription only. You'll need a valid script from your doctor, which must be used to purchase the required iron medication from a pharmacy prior to your appointment.
Get in touch — we may be able to point you toward options to help you get one sooner.
Please bring your prescribed iron medication with you to your appointment. We're unable to administer the infusion without it.
